Compatibility

The Armaspec Stlth Recoil Spring AR10 G4 is compatible with AR10 rifles equipped with a carbine-length buffer tube. However, it is essential to ensure that the rear opening of the bolt carrier is over 0.60 inches to function properly. Some bolt carriers with a rear opening of under 0.60 inches may not be compatible with this recoil spring.

Installation and Maintenance

The recoil spring can be installed with or without the buffer retainer. Most users prefer to run the recoil spring without the buffer retainer for ease of maintenance. The polymer bumper should be placed towards the rear of the firearm, and the weight mass with the o-ring should be positioned towards the bolt carrier. It is recommended to reapply Loctite when reassembling the components.
